In 1994, Nas's debut album, Illmatic, was released. It featured production from Large Professor, Pete Rock, Q-Tip, LES and DJ Premier, as well as guest appearances from Nas's friend AZ and his father Olu Dara. The album spawned several singles, including "The World Is Yours", "It Ain't Hard to Tell", and "One Love". Shaheem Reid of MTV News called Illmatic "the first classic LP" of 1994.[26] In 1994, Nas also recorded the song "One on One" for the soundtrack to the film Street Fighter.[27] In his book To the Break of Dawn: A Freestyle on the Hip Hop Aesthetic, William Jelani Cobb writes of Nas's impact at the time:
Book Nas Was Reading In Belly
OC of D.I.T.C. comments in the book How to Rap: "Nas did the song backwards ['Rewind']... that was a brilliant idea".[110] Also in How to Rap, 2Mex of The Visionaries describes Nas's flow as "effervescent",[111] Rah Digga says Nas's lyrics have "intricacy",[112] Bootie Brown of The Pharcyde explains that Nas does not always have to make words rhyme as he is "charismatic",[113] and Nas is also described as having a "densely packed"[114] flow, with compound rhymes that "run over from one beat into the next or even into another bar".[115]

Tommy 'Buns' Bundy : Come on with the bullshit, man. You think another motherfucker know what you need to do? Ain't no purpose, dawg. It's money. We born to fucking die, man. In the meantime, get money. Fuck a book, man.
Where you tend to gain fat depends on your genes, your hormones, your age, your birth weight (smaller babies more readily add belly fat later in life), and whether you've had children (women who have given birth tend to develop more visceral fat than women who haven't).
Keep moving. Exercise can help reduce your waist circumference. Even if you don't lose weight, you lose visceral belly fat and gain muscle mass. Engage in at least 30 minutes of moderate-intensity activity most days, such as brisk walking or bicycling at a casual pace. Also create opportunities to add motion to routine tasks. For example, park farther from your destination and walk the rest of the way, take the stairs instead of the elevator, and stand while you talk on the phone.
Eat right. Choose a balanced diet that helps you achieve and maintain a healthy weight. Avoid products that seem to encourage belly fat deposition, especially simple sugars like fructose-sweetened foods and beverages.
In Three Stripes South, Bex tells her story of hiking the Israel National Trail with her Israeli husband, Gil. She takes us through the different landscapes and challenges of a turbulent country as we hear about mountain climbs and desert crossings. The challenges of the trail are fascinating, from the mundane of making sure there is enough food and water until they can resupply, to the thrilling obstacles like walking along a knife edge ridge with a sheer drop either side. As someone who dearly wants to hike a long distance trail, and actually in particular the Israel National Trail, the book put a fire in my belly, and helped me understand the realities of thru-hiking much better.
But throughout Three Stripes South, Bex cleverly weaves in memories from her past, thoughts she has had, and the journey that has led her to take on a hike that is over 1,000km in length. This is the true strength of the book, and many times I noticed the intricate segues and creative use of structure.
While I may have been the first to put these ideas together in my bestselling book The Happiest Baby on the Block, the truth is, parents everywhere have long turned to similar womb-mimicking tricks to soothe their babies. Whether parents realized it or not, going for car rides and turning on the vacuum cleaner to calm babies copycats the womb and triggers the calming reflex.
While the film does dabble with other storylines, most prominently a drug deal with a Jamaican cartel boss (Rankin), it's so disorganised that it's nigh impossible to understand anything. And the characters are so reprehensible that even after Sincere has had his Geri Halliwell-style redemption - which involves reading one self-help book and realising killing is bad - it's difficult to feel any sympathy. 2ff7e9595c
